Grandview Diagnostic Radiology Residency
The Grandview Diagnostic Radiology Residency is supported by the physicians of KNRI and affiliated staff. The goal of the residency program is to become a leader among Osteopathic Diagnostic Radiology Residency programs by continuing to develop and improve our curriculum, provided outstanding academic mentorship and grow quality improvement strategies.
With over 500,000 examinations per year the residents are exposed to a large variety and scope of radiologic exams. Residents are educated on the academic and scientific practice of radiology with the eventual goal being successful completion of the boards with the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology.
Previous alumni with the program have gone on to fellowships at University of California San Francisco, University of Cincinnati and Henry Ford Health Systems to name a few. The alumni from our program have successfully completed fellowships in MSK, Interventional Radiology, Body MRI, Women’s Imaging and Pediatrics.

Breast Imaging Fellowship Program
Sponsored by KNRI and in partnership with Kettering Hospital & Medical Center a part of the Kettering Health Network we are pleased to announce a Fellowship Program in Breast Imaging.
Sheila Manion,M.D., Medical Director of Kettering Breast Evaluation Center will also be the Clinical Director of the Breast Imaging Fellowship Program.
Applications for Breast Imaging Fellows for academic year 2013-2014 are now being accepted. The one year fellowship comprises of breast imaging in Kettering’s dedicated breast center Kettering Breast Evaluation Center and follows recommendations outlined by the Society of Breast Imaging. The fellowship will provide training in all aspects of breast imaging and interventional procedures. The KHN Breast Imaging Section performs procedures and reads for a large hospital network, including three state-of-the-art centers in Dayton, Ohio, performing over 40,000 examinations each year. Rotations in general surgery, plastic surgery, radiation oncology, and pathology will also be a part of the fellowship experience. The fellow will have the opportunity to participate in bi-weekly breast conferences and other educational activities.
The Breast Imaging fellow should be a proactive, self-motivated individual. Application requirements include successful completion of an American Osteopathic Association or Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education approved residency in Diagnostic Radiology. Fellows must be board eligible/board certified prior to starting the fellowship program. Eligible candidates must also obtain an Ohio medical license and meet all other hospital requirements before starting the program
